Fashion Needs And Consumption: Immediate Surroundings

In my immediate surroundings if we look into carefully we can see a lot of changes taking place in the life of youngsters and how much trends we actually follow just to be a part of the society. And maximum of them are either not aware of the pollution created by fashion or they think it's not possible for young one to make changes. 

Their are people around us who are comfortable with their lifestyles and they don't bother about the environment. The older generations around us believe it is important to maintain identity and image in the society for power and they are least interested into any environmental problems ,but in my family I have one of my uncle working for the society as an activist for Ganga Bachao Abhiyan and they are working for a clean environment and clean water bodies.

So, if we try to educate our society or try to make them aware I believe we can bring changes. And we can also see children's who adapt good and bad habits from their parents and surroundings so similarly maintaining society standards are usually followed in maximum places. And if someone is trying to change he/she must stay ready for facing awkward responses from surroundings. 

Everyone around us have a tendency to buy new garments for different occasions and it's trending not to repeat clothes and if you do so their will be people present who will be commenting on that. So, we must try to ignore such comments if we want to bring a change. 

Due to mass market and changing trends maximum of our wardrobes are full of clothes so we can also see some of our parents give away those clothes to the needy ones. We directly or indirectly also use our clothes potentially by remaking out of the torn or unused clothes but as the increase in production is much more so we need to act more widely.

So, we all must take care of the Mindfull and Mindless Consumerism and we together must understand and educate our surroundings for taking small steps for a better environment for our future generations. And these changes what we are already facing these huge demands of fast fashion have come from the western influence and they are changing daily. Brands like H&M and Zara have bought these trends and are contributing into the pollution which is increasing day by day. 

If we look back into history of fashion industry we will see how sustainable we used to be and now we must try to be more sustainable and be more responsible toward our environment!
