CLEAN SLATE!

 The  new journey into the field of fashion designing begins with my PGFD course . 

Today we had a very brief introduction session with our faculty members which was very interactive.

We discussed about our module framework and went into the topic of ---- SELF AND ENVIRONMENT.

Self and Environment are basically mixed of many inter related topics which includes culture, society structures, experiences, values and ethics,identity and image.

Diverse culture-- It means variety of food/habits, clothing,shelter, architecture,aesthetics, etc .

Where as Culture "CULT" i.e, following of one kind or another for many many years together.

We can also consider people having same idea custom and social behavior. Each culture have their own hierarchy. 

Culture also gives rise to ------- LIFESTYLE!

Lifestyle is composed of the daily things we do in our day to day life.

Society structures-- A group of people interacting and living together which is being followed from their from the pre historic age. Eg. Cave age , stone age, housewife's, etc  Societies form in different regions with different buildups.

Experience- Values- Ethics-- Experience is what a person gains as from the observations from his day to day life which leaves an impression in someone's life. 

Values we can say which comes from our experiences.

And Ethics are the Creational Laws  or the laws from the Nature which are humanitarian.

Identity and image-- which is the concept of internal makeup VS internal projection that form the individual persona.

The contrast between what we actually are and what we project externally is a clear dominance of our appearance against the inner beauty. Their is a constant competition between one's inner and outer beauty, there is a fear of not being accepted by the society. And due to this we try to hide our shortcomings.

 INCOME EARNING MEMBER: 

Father and Mother both are the earning members of the family.

          INDIVIDUALITY-

FATHER- He is a person who earns, values the ethics and does what is right for others.He takes care of the whole family’s needs and wants. 

MOTHER- She is an ex-service women, who now takes care of everyone in the family. 

DAUGHTER- She is the one who tries to live in her own world by breaking all the stereotypical thoughts around. 

SON- He is a teenager dealing with many emotions, thoughts and feelings.
