Spreading Awareness!

Awareness is something which is very important and growing your awareness is likely to get more information which clears our vision and statement. So, as we look again into the word Sustainability and Fast Fashion we can see how it's impacting our environment and surroundings!

Fast Fashion is considered as disposable fashion as it's quick and cheap. And these clothes are mass produced by the retailers who copy designs from designers who spent months to get their designs. So, this is something illegal and this mass production of clothes contributes into textile wastes.

Knowingly or unknowingly each one of us are having garments which are made out of synthetic fibers like the polyester, nylon, acrylic and polyolefin which is made out of compounds from raw materials such as petroleum based chemicals or petrochemicals.
And these garments take almost 20-200 years to decompose. Then why do we need to buy clothes which are so much harmful for the surrounding???? Just because of the low cost??? ...Let's look into this video which speaks about the cost we are paying for Fashion and how it's affecting the environment.

So, this Fast Fashion and Mass market is increasing the quantity of synthetic fiber garments which produces a huge amount of harmful chemicals, wastes and carbon emissions. As these Synthetic fibers are low cost and also man made the quality of the garment is not good, which also harm our body. Let's check this out!

And not only this much Fast Fashion increase is causing more of textile dyeing which is leading to more and more of Water pollution and Consumption by the industries.
The increase in microfibers in the ocean each year due to washing of synthetic garments which is also not biodegradable.

The chemicals used during the processing of dyeing, bleaching, etc. And cotton production, is also causing the death and disease of farmers and the people making our clothes. And this is also leading to soil degradation further. Overgrazing of pastures through cashmere goats and sheep raised for their wool; degradation of the soil due to massive use of chemicals to grow cotton; deforestation caused by wool-based fibers like rayon.

The global fashion industry is generating a lot of greenhouse gases due to the energy used during its production, manufacturing, and transportation of the million garments purchased each year.
Rain-forest destruction due to cutting down of trees mainly in places like Indonesia is increasing drastically and contributing into this environmental problems.
So, now I believe we can see how each and everything is connected around us. Like we buy clothes which are harmful for us as well as the nature and the only one who is having the profit is the Fast Fashion Brands.
If you can check around their are brands who are not also paying the hands which are behind this production process like we can see a mass market industry in Bangladesh and the workers are unpaid. So, this is clear these brands don't care about the consumers, the producers, the environment and the quality products their only focus is into maximization of their profit!
